Oh, I meant: it doesn't display the thousands separator on
numbers that you enter, only on the results of calculations.
I agree that my earlier problem was a configuration error --
changing the locale to what it is currently (see below)
fixed that -- but it still doesn't display separators on the
numbers being entered.
