Package: python-cxx Version: 5.5.0-1 Severity: wishlist There is a new upstream version 6.1.0 of PyCXX which "Supports Python 3 and Python 2" and "replaces 5.5.0 and 6.0.0".
Although the upstream web-page does not mention this, it's possible that the new version also works with python2.6, so that support for it can be enabled in the python-cxx package.
