I like to see a patch which adds a "System" option to the language list. "System" will be the default and there will be no pop up for selecting the language on the first startup. If "System" is selected the language will be determined by calling GetSystemLanguageCode() on startup. "System" will be flexible. If you change the LANG variable, then audacity will use this specified language on the next startup. Cheers, Benjamin
