I can open a Gnumeric file over an sshfs mount but I am unable to save the file. Saving the file locally and moving using file manager is possible. Saving over the sshfs using other GNOME apps is also possible. Username and UID are the same on both systems and user has write permissions. Running Gnumeric from a terminal I get: Reading file:///home/iain/mnt/LOLEK/artist.gnumeric Writing file:///home/iain/mnt/LOLEK/artist.gnumeric ==> Operation not permitted A dot file is left on the remote system upon every save attempt.
