Package: developers-reference Version: 3.4.1 Severity: normal I noticed a rendering defect in the PDF output. When the text refers to a program described in a particular section, the name of the program is ommitted in the PDF result. For example, section 5.6.1 has the following in the PDF output:
You may also find the Debian packages Section A.5.1 or Section A.5.2 useful when uploading packages. Whereas the txt version has: You may also find the Debian packages Section A.5.1, ?dupload? or Section A.5.2, ?dput? useful when uploading packages. I've verified the PDF output is the same in both evince and acroread, so I'm quite sure the problem is in the PDF file and not in the rendering. -Carl PS. Presumably the bug is not in developers-reference, but in the package it uses to create the PDF result of its documentation. But I wanted to report this bug where I found it before forgetting it. Feel free to reassign the bug to the appropriate package. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.31-rc1 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash developers-reference depends on no packages.
