Well, not in the sense of speed. I was rather thinking of other people accidentially destroying their (working) environment. But now that it is in testing, it may probably too late... I'm neither an X or gnome guru, so I fear I cannot really help at finding the bug, but I found a bugzilla entry at gnome.org which states the bug being already fixed. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=579387 -> http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=580103 At the end it says it was fixed in git (but not exactly where) and the later comments suggest that the fix in git may have reworked a bit.
