Package: cacti Version: 0.8.6c-7 Followup-For: Bug #308492
Well I solved most of problems resulting from thus uypgrade : 1) log were with wrong permission (I had to change permission 755 in /var/log/cacti/*) 2) then I had the famous 296s exceeded in the log 07/12/2005 12:44:59 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] Maximum runtime of 296 seconds exceeded. Exiting. 3) so I launched the php command in the cron.d by hand (I thought I installed cactid) and it said the cactid path was unknow su www-data -c /usr/share/cacti/site/poller.php 4) I use the web interface to set up cactid path name Then I rerun the script by hand and it works I would say there may miss something in the debian postinst script of cactid that tells him to update cacti configuration file. There may miss some chown in /var/log/cactid too If it can help.
