Yeah, that's inconvenient -_-, and the wording of the error, while perfectly fine for 90% of people doesn't make sense to people like myself who live in shells and startx from there. Then again, while I compute like that, I don't really know how to program... I'm on the outside. The other thing is that answering that debconf question 'YES' doesn't alter /etc/security/limits.conf.
