Package: svn-buildpackage
Version: 0.6.9
Severity: normal

Hi,

I've been slowly converting from cvs-buildpackage to svn-buildpackage.
In the process of re-importing my packages (all 32 of them), I noticed
that svn-inject does not seem to completely clean up after itself. I
see lots of directories of this form in $TMPDIR, apparently one per
imported package:

drwx--S--- 2 pronovic users 4096 2005-07-11 18:00
svn_load_dirs_ziizZNQwQs/

I also end up with other empty files and directories in $TMPDIR which
seem to be left over from svn-buildpackage, although I'm not sure what
stage of the process creates them. (I just noticed that they were there,
and they weren't there before I started experimenting with the
svn-buildpackage build process.) These empty files and directories have
the form:

-rw------- 1 pronovic users 0 2005-07-11 15:51 tmp.0o9sca
-rw------- 1 pronovic users 0 2005-07-11 16:51 tmp.9gxbgK
-rw------- 1 pronovic users 0 2005-07-11 15:51 tmp.b5jpbf
drwx--S--- 2 pronovic users 4096 2005-07-11 17:54 tmp.CbTWEt/

Although it's safe to assume that $TMPDIR will eventually get cleaned
up, I'd prefer for programs to clean up after themselves when they're
done with things.

If it makes a difference, I had $TMPDIR set to $HOME/tmp when I noticed
this problem. Also, note that I am running sarge with svn-buildpackage
pinned to unstable, so I'm using Perl 5.8.4 rather than whatever is in
unstable right now. Hopefully that won't make a difference in debugging
it.

I've put this at severity normal, but I won't argue if you would prefer
to downgrade it to wishlist.

Thanks,

KEN
