Yes, namely [0]#491970. Look in its bug log or ask there for further
information about this issue.

This issue has already been reported as [1]#470629 and is fixed in
libchipcard 4.2.2-1. Unfortunately Debian was already in freeze when I
had time enough to care about this bug.

This sounds like a reasonable work around for you.

As this bug is a duplicate of #470629 I will merge it with the other and
close it like the other as fixed in libchipcard 4.2.2-1.
