Hi, Thanks for the bug report - I have indeed been working on fixing the gcc 4.4 compilation issues (using gcc-snapshot from ubuntu jaunty) - I have a new beta version of Fox which includes an updated cctbx version. It also fixes the error in Fox.cpp (strange error, I just rewrote tye same thing in two lines...).
The new beta is #1158 @: https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=27546&package_id=162603 Incidentally, Fox will now honour CXX and CC (and LDFLAGS). I compiled with: CC=/usr/lib/gcc-snapshot/bin/gcc CXX=/usr/lib/gcc-snapshot/bin/gcc make unicode=1 shared=1 -j5 Also note that the library organization has changed - boost (more precisely, the subset of boost that Fox requires) is now inside the cctbx.tar.bz2 file, since boost is tied to cctbx...
