Hi: Usually, we have a field called Vcs-Svn in debian/control which shows where the repository is.
That package, I think, is an older one that we'll gradually upgrade to our new format, which includes that field. As a result I don't think it's entirely necessary to have it in README.Debian, but I'll do it anyway, as it's not really a big deal, and might help clear up some things. I haven't worked on that module and thus cannot comment on whether or not it will be uploaded soon. My sense, though, is that given the large nature of that package (both in terms of file size and its audience), it might take a bit of testing before release. Things get released when the main package maintainer decides it's ready; the last edit to debian/changelog happened something like 36 hours ago. So it's still getting hacked on.
