Package: dnscache-run
Version: 1:1.05-6
Severity: important

"dpkg-reconfigure dnscache-run" fails.

--First:

/var/lib/dpkg/info/dnscache-run.postinst: line 14: sv: command not found

It looks like line 14,

  sv -v term dnscache || :

should perhaps be something like

  svc -t dnscache || :

? Or perhaps there is a dependency failure?

Note that the " || : " makes the command succeed, but it still
produces an error message and fails to restart dnscache. Is it OK
that that command doesn't fail?

--Second:

The script gets the package's version number in $2 (line 19), and
therefore it exits without updating /etc/resolv.conf.

--Third (probably outside the scope of this bug, but I don't know
  where the problem is; please forgive and refile?):

With resolvconf 1.43, dnscache-run fails to update /etc/resolv.conf
with current versions of stuff listed below. Cut-and-paste bug from
above?
