Did keepassx work before? Does keepassx work with a fresh, empty database?

Unfortunately that strace is not helpful to analyse the crash. I cannot
reproduce the crash either, so that I have to ask you to create a
meaningful backtrace in order to locate the exact source line where the
crash happens.

Please see the following wiki pages for detailed instructions how to do
this:

 * http://wiki.debian.org/HowToGetABacktrace
 * https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace

Moreover, please not that I don't have detailed knowledge
