I've tried to summarize it at http://wiki.debian.org/DebianMultimedia/FAQ In short: subscribe to the pkg-multimedia mailing list, help out with exsting bugs, send patches, and you'll be granted commit access. > I know the official website tells you to write to two existing developers --- > I did but I > have not received any reply. I'm sorry to hear that. Have you approached them in private or on a public mailing list? Can you provide references to some public webarchive? > On Sun, 3 May 2009, Reinhard Tartler wrote: > >> By submitting patches to >> https://lists.mplayerhq.hu/mailman/listinfo/mplayer-dev-eng. > > I am not sure my scripts qualify as a patch. I'd really like to have that maintained upstream, because I don't see anything debian specific here. I am okay with having a preliminary version of the scripts in debian until it gets accepted upstream, though. I don't remember any mail from you on the mplayer-dev-eng mailing list. Could you perhaps please submit your script there for the inital review? I'd love to read some feedback from the upstream developers on it. -- Gruesse/greetings, Reinhard Tartler, KeyID 945348A4 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
