Andres, Thanks for the report. I noticed that you are running a mixed lenny/ sid environment which does make issues difficult to debug. There have been some major issues with cups & hplip - specially with non en locals. Could I ask you to upgrade to version 1.3.10 of cups, as found in sid and let me know if that fixes your issue.
