Uhm ... aren't you confusing DPGO_ORIGTARDIR with the ORIGTARDIR variable local to dpgo? The latter is passed to dpgo on cmdline and is where dpgo puts the upstream tarball if found somewhere. DPGO_ORIGTARDIR seems to be used only as a first attempt to find the tarball. Am I missing something? > set up the environment variable.
