Apparently, what mplayer does is just to skip the corrupted frames. There seems to be no silence, and the track just keeps playing as if there was no error. The only hint about it appears on the terminal, if you start mplayer from there. Do you think that is possible to do here?
Or even maybe add that as an option on the plugin preferences, with two radio button options. Something like: "Erroneous frames: Skip / Replace with silence".
