Package: grub-pc Version: 1.96+20090309-1 Severity: wishlist
It would be a nice feature if the video mode would be passed to the booting kernel and so the resolution and background image stay there for the boot messages. As issued at the grub mailing list ( http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/grub-devel/2009-03/msg00121.html), Robert Millan made a patch for this.
