That doesn't work and was the first thing i tried out!
There where other error-messages like "syntax error" linux blabla
I tried out many different variants of deleting lines - nothing work!

Of course this was my second try.
It also does not work, because Knoppix is a 32-Bit version.
After croot it tries to start the 64-Bit-Bash and this of course fails!

So what to do after this update with this grub 1.96 ruins the system?
