Maybe that is a grave bug but I start with important as I do not know. The make-kpkg will not create a .deb package anymore. The build of the module packages work fine. I use to build the kernel from a fresh plain vanilla kernel. Before I do any make-kpkg I copy a old configuration to .config in the main directory of the kernel.
