Package: pidgin
Version: 2.4.3-4
Severity: normal

Hello Maintainer,

Since I have a weird problem with pidging I have tried to run it with
the -d option but the result was a crash or the X-Window-System with
FVWM sind the ~/.xsession-errors grow to 27 GByte and leaved no space on
my ${HOME} mounted over NFSv4.

Please, can you change the debug option to something similar like "mutt"
I mean, let "pidgin" write to ~/.pidgindebug0 or make it configurable
and let it write to a temp partition which prevent cluttering the rest
of the system.

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day/Evening
