That is strange! I tried to reproduce this but although I'm taken to the last window I was in the finished line always goes to the status window. I've asked others and for them it's the same. Specifically I'm using irssi's printformat function and I'm giving it server&nick of the conversation that is to be finished. If it can't find a query for that it should print to the status window.
