When I have an OTR session open with someone and do a /window close I will be taken to the last window I was in and the OTR finished line goes to that exact window. I looks like to seems to have the idea of writing it to the current window expecting it to be the corresponding query window but that doesn't exist anymore obviously at that stage. So long!
