Package: microcode.ctl Version: 1.11-1 Severity: wishlist Hi,
I think it'd be good if the package can provide a mechanism to update the firmware after package installation. I suspect the firmware file's changed on people.debian.org since I installed 1.11-1, but my microcode.dat never got updated. Maybe ask the user if they want to install a cron job, or provide a script that has the functionality that is in the package's postinst? regards Andrew -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages microcode.ctl depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii makedev 2.3.1-77 creates device files in /dev ii module-init-tools 3.2-pre1-2 tools for managing Linux kernel mo ii modutils 2.4.26-1.2 Linux module utilities -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
