Oh, dear. Why are all the xscreensaver users offended by any single bit
they can find in the package?

It falls back to reading a text file when the connection times out.

In my opinion, that's the best source of news about the project.

We removed the use of fortune because some people complained, especially
about the dependency. It's only a default anyway, nobody prevents you
from using it.
