Well, that needs isolating what upstream change did fix this... .../... That could be upstream bug #5904: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5904 Someone, in that bug mentioned that he compiled .deb packages (for lenny, or Ubuntu Intrepid, probably) with the patch proposed by Jeremy Allison. It would be good if the bug submitters for #509101 and #510450 could test these packages, additionnally to testing 3.2.6 package I pointed in #509101
