It seems that this bug is due to podsleuth not knowing about all iPod revisions. I've uploaded a version to pkg-cli-apps SVN which backports the device table from experimental. This should fix the issue once it's sponsored. I have a nano which was also not recognised with the same error and backporting the device table allowed podsleuth and banshee to work fine with it. You might need to run "podsleuth --rescan" to rescan the device as it seems there's possibly some caching going on. Thanks, Iain ps.
