Package: vorbis-tools Version: 1.2.0-5 Severity: minor For instance:
[...] ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:996:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave ALSA snd_pcm_open error: Device or resource busy Error: Cannot open device alsa. zsh: segmentation fault CHARSET=`locale charmap` \ogg123 --audio-buffer 128 It shouldn't crash, but return an error. Sometimes, instead of crashing, it hangs. This is probably the same bug as 225393 (now archived). Note: I don't know why ogg123 cannot open the device, but this isn't particular to ogg123. I'll reboot the machine. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (900, 'stable'), (200, 'unstable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-powerpc Locale: LANG=POSIX, LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO8859-1 (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages vorbis-tools depends on: ii libao2 0.8.8-4 Cross Platform Audio Output Librar ii libc6 2.7-16 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.18.2-5 Multi-protocol file transfer libra ii libflac8 1.2.1-1.2 Free Lossless Audio Codec - runtim ii libogg0 1.1.3-4 Ogg Bitstream Library ii libspeex1 1.2~rc1-1 The Speex codec runtime library ii libvorbis0a 1.2.0.dfsg-3.1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi ii libvorbisenc2 1.2.0.dfsg-3.1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi ii libvorbisfile3 1.2.0.dfsg-3.1 The Vorbis General Audio Compressi vorbis-tools recommends no packages. vorbis-tools suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
