Well, in searching for another web browser, I tried it out to see how useful it would be. Unfortunately, not being able to display google.com makes it pretty much unusable for me. To me, it's not an "important part of Emacs", but something that would be nice to have. --- Given that very few people have installed it and considering that maintaining it might be difficult, you could as well drop it.
