Package: apt-proxy
Version: 1.9.29
Severity: important

During the upgrade from woody (stable, updated only for security) to sarge
apt-proxy
was upgraded from 1.3.? to 1.9.29 and /var/cache/apt-proxy/.apt-proxy was
created as a regular file instead of a directory, so the database could not be
made.

I saw this from errors in the apt-proxy log, stopped apt-proxy, deleted the
file, made the directory, changed ownership to aptproxy:nogroup and
restarted apt-proxy. This solved the problem.

With kind regards, Erik Laan.
