Package: snoopy Version: 1.3-8 Severity: minor Some logged commands are truncated in the snoopy logfile. Surprisingly, all logged commands are not truncated to the same character count. Example truncated lines in my log file: Jun 15 19:36:13 cyan snoopy[9829]: [dlduser, uid:1001 sid:8080]: dpkg --print-installation-architectu Jun 15 19:35:07 cyan snoopy[9768]: [dlduser, uid:1001 sid:8080]: /bin/gzip -dc /usr/share/man/man8/update-alte Jun 15 16:00:07 cyan snoopy[6390]: [(null), uid:0 sid:5293]: /usr/bin/find /usr/lib /usr/bin -name red.tar -o -name start.sh -o -name klogd.o -o -name 0anacron-bak -o -name adore
Line 3 is the longest line in my logfile (at 180 chars), and may not even be truncated. Lines 1-2 are truncated, but to different lengths. Being able to determine the complete command executed by users would be highly desirable. :) -Darren -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11.12 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages snoopy depends on: ii debconf 1.4.30.13 Debian configuration management sy ii ld.so.preload-manager 0.3.3-1.1 A utility to manage the libraries ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an -- debconf information: * snoopy/install-ld-preload: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
