Package: autoconf
Version: 2.59a-3
Severity: important

Hi,

running configure might reveal that it depends on the following files:
config.guess
config.sub
install-sh

There does not seem to any method to get those files by looking only
at the autoconf package.

I know that the files can be found in an automake package but it's non-sense
because "automake -a -f -c" just fails:
configure.in: no proper invocation of AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE was found.
configure.in: You should verify that configure.in invokes AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE,
configure.in: that aclocal.m4 is present in the top-level directory,
configure.in: and that aclocal.m4 was recently regenerated (using aclocal).
automake: no `Makefile.am' found for any configure output

And automake is right because I DON'T USE automake. Additionally, it's not
automake
that needs those files but the file created by autoconf.
For autoconf to be complete, the _autoconf_ package/program MUST provide a
way to aquire those files.
