Hello, I am just filing this bug for the records and as an information to anybody encountering the same problem. This issue is already fixed in version 1.3.0 from upstream-svn: svn checkout svn://svn.linux1394.org/libraw1394/trunk/ libiec61883 I had problems grabbing dv-video with my SONY DCR-TRV239E grabbing an old Video8-tape. This camera is a Digital8-camcorder which can digitize old Video8-tapes on-the-fly (i.e. you playback an Video8-tape and it will output digital video).
