Package: libiec61883-0
Version: 1.1.0-2
Severity: normal

Hello,

I am just filing this bug for the records and as an information to anybody
encountering the same problem. This
issue is already fixed in version 1.3.0 from upstream-svn:

svn checkout svn://svn.linux1394.org/libraw1394/trunk/ libiec61883

I had problems grabbing dv-video with my SONY DCR-TRV239E grabbing an old
Video8-tape. This camera is a
Digital8-camcorder which can digitize old Video8-tapes on-the-fly (i.e. you
playback an Video8-tape and
it will output digital video).

Both dvgrab and kino segfault when encountering blank spaces on the tape (the
following output was generated
with the version 1.1.0 of libiec61883 in Debian Lenny):

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/raid/capture>

I just cancelled the capture here with CTRL-C. Despite the buffer-underrun
messages, the capturing
works fine.

Please upload version 1.3.0 of libiec61883 as soon as possible. No further
action is necessary though.

Again: This bug-report is just for your information and to help others with
this issue.

Regards,

Adrian
