That's right - but can you please read up on the history of the story, too? > Fixing these bugs before lenny is shipped is very easy to do and would > be greatly appreciated by the translators who sent you these bugs > reports. This is a single bug, not multiple. Against a package that ships a udeb. And I think I don't have to remind you of the story of the last update round, after all even the french team missed the set deadline and I had to pester you personally at debconf to not leave the french translation out of it - which I propably should have just done, schedules are there for a reason. I don't see much sense in uploading the package just for this single vietnamese translation (and the splitting of the _Choices into __Choices, which I have done locally in the meantime), yet again. The impact for a single language isn't really deep. I don't want to belittle Clytie's efforts at all, don't get me wrong. > You probably know that I run a longstanding NMU campaign for such bug > reports. *You* are under my radar..:-). So, better escape before the > radar catches you or your package... It might catch it, but I am quite uncomfortable with seeing an NMU for updating a single translation. > Many thanks for your work for Debian and for your consideration for > i18n/l10n. Thank you too, and I guess you are well aware that I do value and support i18n/l10n to quite a fair bit, but I am still not convinced that this would make any proper sense to rush it in.
