Package: gobby Version: 0.4.6-3 Severity: important Gobby can't join IPv6 link-local sessions discovered via Avahi.
Here is how you can reproduce this bug: 1) Make sure that Avahi is installed on both desktop computers, it works and firewall does not block it. 2) Start Gobby on computer #1 3) Create new Gobby session on computer #1 - click Create Session -button - enter username, eg: foo - click ok-button 4) Start Gobby on computer #2 5) Try to connect to session on computer #1 - click Join Session -button - enter username, eg: bar - select Local network from the bottom of the window. - You should now see the session created and published by computer #1. Gobby shows IPv6 address to the computer #1. - Click Ok-button. The result is that Gobby says: "Invalid argument". Gobby does not join the session. If you try to join session and manually enter IPv4 address of computer #1 then Gobby joins to session and everything works just fine.
