Package: hdparm
Version: 6.1-2
Severity: minor

I'm using "hdparm -a8 -u" on /dev/hda (a CD/DVD).
I need to do this so that DVD viewing is smooth
(at least this is a solution that works) .

Wanted to maintain this over a reboot.
Editted /etc/hdparm.conf as suggested in README.Debian
Symlinked /etc/init.d/hdparm to /etc/rcS.d/S29hdparm.second
Reboot and hdparm settings not taken

Changing to later in init: /etc/rcS.d/S39hdparm.second
Reboot and hdparm settings have taken!

Regards,
Graham
