Hi, What is the exact command you are running?
What happens if you run with the -v9 option? Can you please paste the complete log file?
From the logs that have displayed, it appears that rdiff-backup has failed while determining the remote file system abilities. However, the section where it says *which* remote file system ability it failed on failed.
What version of Linux are you running? And more importantly, what version of EncFS?
