Package: wordnet Version: 1:2.1-4+etch1 Tags: etch I upgraded wordnet using the recent security update in etch:
[UPGRADE] wordnet 1:2.1-4 -> 1:2.1-4+etch1 [UPGRADE] wordnet-base 1:2.1-4 -> 1:2.1-4+etch1 After this upgrade, most of the features of the "wn" command-line client don't work. Only -over and -famln seem to work, everything else I tried displays only two lines of text. For instance: ,---- | $ wn work | | Information available for noun work | -hypen Hypernyms | -hypon, -treen Hyponyms & Hyponym Tree | -synsn Synonyms (ordered by estimated frequency) | -partn Has Part Meronyms | -meron All Meronyms | -derin Derived Forms | -domnn Domain | -famln Familiarity & Polysemy Count | -coorn Coordinate Terms (sisters) | -grepn List of Compound Words | -over Overview of Senses | | Information available for verb work | -antsv Antonyms | -hypev Hypernyms | -hypov, -treev Hyponyms & Hyponym Tree | -entav Verb Entailment | -synsv Synonyms (ordered by estimated frequency) | -causv Cause to | -deriv Derived Forms | -domnv Domain | -famlv Familiarity & Polysemy Count | -framv Verb Frames | -coorv Coordinate Terms (sisters) | -simsv Synonyms (grouped by similarity of meaning) | -grepv List of Compound Words | -over Overview of Senses | | No information available for adj work | | No information available for adv work | | $ wn work -over | | Overview of noun work | | The noun work has 7 senses (first 7 from tagged texts) | | 1. (435) work -- (activity directed toward making or doing something; | "she checked several points needing further work") [... and so on, this is correct ...] | | $ wn work -hypen | | Synonyms/Hypernyms (Ordered by Estimated Frequency) of noun work | | 7 senses of work$ | $ wn work -antsv | | Antonyms of verb work | | 1 of 27 senses of work$ | $ wn work -coorv | | Coordinate Terms (sisters) of verb work | | 24 of 27 senses of work$ `---- I think this is the same bug as #497649, which was fixed in lenny a while ago. Any chance of fixing the bug also for etch, as the current wordnet in etch is almost useless after the security update? (I submitted a new bug instead of trying to reopen bug #497649 for etch only, because I'm not familiar enough with the bug tracking system to do the latter.) -- -=- Rjs -=- [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
