OK, obviously this must be a bug (so I or > somebody should reassign and retitle this bug?) in gconf2 because > that should point to x-www-browser not epiphany-browser This default is set by the package 'libgnome2-common', but please go through its bugs before filing a new one (or reassigning this one), because this seems like a problem that might have popped up before and might have already been answered. One could argue that libgnome2-common should either recommend it or not set it as default, but then again, they (the maintainers) might have a good reason for it that I fail to see.
