Still a bug. Either in the documentation for not mentioning any schema
related things, or in the code for not rejecting it.
I've just committed a comment in slapd-ldap(5) and slapd-meta(5) to
indicate schema requirements. I'm also working at a patch to
slapo-pcache(5) that prevents caching of queries that could not be
answered locally because of schema issues. I insist that missing schema
info is a misconfiguration, as OpenLDAP's slapd needs schema consistent
data to deal with.
