I tried to install the nVidia driver that comes with the nVidia installer, the installer complains that my kernel (a 686) is a XEN kernel, which it's not. The 173.14.05 and the 173.14.12 versions of the installer both complain. I asked a friend on the net, he had the same problem, and so he kept using a 2.6.24 kernel.
