The output of 'LD_DEBUG=files rhythmbox' is instructive. It shows that the dependency chain is: rhythmbox -> libtotem-plparser.so.10 -> libcamel-1.2.so.11 -> libnss3.so.1d It looks like libcamel1.2-11's dependencies are too lax: it only depends on libnss3-1d >= 3.12.0~1.9b1.
