Hello,

I'm the originator of the debian bug report.

1) Here is what already tried :
- My reader and different cards on my computer -> always get "error powering up the card" in syslog - My reader and my beid card on another computer running ubuntu -> error powering up the card

- My reader and my beid card on another computer running under MSWindows -> it works - My beid card with another brand of reader (Alcor Micro AU9520) on my computer -> it works

2) Tomorow i'll try an older model of ACR38 on my computer. I'll send you the results.

Gérard.

Hello Laurent,
Thanks for your email. I have my engineer to read the bug report and it seems that USB communication between PC and reader is worked properly.
There is a problem to power up the belgian eid card.
Can you try another card?
Tks & B. Rgds,
