Package: cpufrequtils
Version: 0.2-1
Severity: important
I have a Winchester core Athlon64 3000+ that is capable of changing the
frequency. I used this functionality as it made my CPU run cooler and
made my system quieter, however it is not necessary to the operation of
my system as it would be with a laptop. After a recent kernel update,
cpufreq-set was unable to set my kernel frequency.
