Package: tar
Version: 1.15.1-1
Severity: normal

Reproducable by the following commands:

~ > mkdir tartest
~ > cd tartest
~/tartest > touch foo.bar
~/tartest > tar c --newer-mtime=2006-01-01 *
tar: foo.bar: file is unchanged; not dumped
~/tartest >

This did not happen in the previouse version of tar for Debian Unstable.
If it's supposed to be this way, which I consider broken, how do I
silence it without using "> /dev/null"?

The same happens when using "--newer" parameter.
