Package: tar Version: 1.15.1-1 Severity: normal
Reproducable by the following commands: ~ > mkdir tartest ~ > cd tartest ~/tartest > touch foo.bar ~/tartest > tar c --newer-mtime=2006-01-01 * tar: foo.bar: file is unchanged; not dumped ~/tartest > This did not happen in the previouse version of tar for Debian Unstable. If it's supposed to be this way, which I consider broken, how do I silence it without using "> /dev/null"? The same happens when using "--newer" parameter. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (700, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.10-tux Locale: LANG=no_NO, LC_CTYPE=no_NO (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages tar depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
