Package: php-html-template-it Version: 1.10-3 Hi,
This package has a description which is basically a copy&paste from the the package.xml file distributed in the source - which is bad. The short description is basically stating the package name - which is pretty useless. In the long description, the first sentence is overly generic and basically bragging. The second sentence starts talking sense, but it lacks context. It also has a peculiar note in square brackets - is that supposed to be saying that this library does what http://phplib.sourceforge.net/ does? The last sentence again talks in superlatives, then turns excessively personal (talking to the reader in first and second person) and as such it is completely inappropriate. If it even needs mentioning, all this is against Policy 3.4 ( http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-binary.html#s-descriptions ). Please fix this. TIA. -- 2.
