package tar severity 309950 normal thanks I agree with Mike, this is not a minor problem as it:
- Breaks compatibility with stable and testing - Does not act like other GNU programs - Is not documented in Debian changelog or tar changelog Thankfully it looks a fix for this was included upstream right after the 1.15.1 release, but there has not been a release since then. Bdale, would you consider including the small patch from the bug-tar message below?
