Package: xdiskusage Version: 1.48-4 Severity: normal I also tried this with version 1.48-5.
xdiskusage -a ~/ causes this error "output does not look like du output" I have no funny mounts in ~/ Digging, the problem seems to happen because some lines in the du output changes the terminal's character encoding. (pardon my poor terminology) causing the terminal output to become all funny. Specifically, some file in xdiskusage -a ~/.gnome/accels/ causes this. (This directory tends to contain weirdly named files). If I type du . in this directory, the terminal's output becomes funny -- presumably, the same problem gets passed on to xdiskusage. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages xdiskusage depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-21 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfltk1.1c102 1.1.6-2 Fast Light Toolkit shared librarie ii libgcc1 1:3.4.3-6 GCC support library ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.5-5 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii xlibmesa-gl [libgl1] 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 Mesa 3D graphics library [XFree86] ii xlibmesa-glu [libglu1] 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 Mesa OpenGL utility library [XFree ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-13 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
