What do you mean when you say: "If I ... remove splashy from ... uswsusp, it works just fine." ???
I've tried adding "splash = n" to /etc/uswsusp.conf and regenerating the initial RAM disk, but that doesn't stop Splashy from hanging while resuming from hibernation.
